Flag Football Champions!

Jonathan has been playing flag football with his
sqaudron for the past several months.
Recently they won the championship!
Go job guys!

Weekend with My Parents...

Recently my parents came into town.
We had a great time and did a ton of fun stuff
including opening Christmas gifts (a little early),
making Amish friendship bread and
Christmas cookies, taking a trip to the beach,
eating dinner at Maguire's and Flounders,
and enjoying my Dad's famous lasagna.
Jonathan and I were actually able to
get a little extra sleep thanks to their help!
We miss you already!
(More pictures on the next blog as well!)

Random Update...

Jonathan and I are learning more and
more every day about Payton.
We started laying him down in his crib about two
weeks ago and he's been sleeping great ever since.
He actually likes to lay down in his crib when he's fussy.
We never realized how much sleep babies need :)
Payton made his second trip to the doctor today.
He's doing great and has gained 1 lb since the last visit.
He's now 9 lbs and 4 oz.
We made our second trip to the beach
with Payton while my (April) parents were here.
He still hasn't seen the water or sand.
He's been sleeping both times we were there :)
Check back soon and I'll add more
pictures from our most recent visitors.
Now it's time for me to take a nap :)
Oh yeah, General no longer has the
ability to reproduce...so sad :)

Random Update...

We've been doing pretty well so far.
Payton's been sleeping great and usually
only wakes up between 1 and 2 times per night.
He's been fussy in the evenings but we're
getting better at being able to sooth him.
Jonathan is almost done with Primary and
should find out what he'll fly within the next month.
I'm sad my maternity leave is going so quickly
but we're thankful for a great friend, Melissa,
who is going to be keeping Payton for us.
General has been pretty left out lately.
We both feel bad sometimes for not having
a lot of time for him but we try to make up
for it by spoiling him and letting him in with us.
He's getting very big these days.
Next week he'll make a trip to the vet to
have his "surgery."
Hopefully he recovers well and stops some of his
obnoxious male behaviors, if you know what I mean :)
Thanks for all your gifts, cards, phone calls, and prayers.
We're very thankful.
Check back soon as I'm sure we'll keep the site up to date!
