Week 21

I don't have much to tell you but here's
another picture of my growing belly.
(Are you enjoying the lovely pose?)
It's been really humid here this week...yuck!
Jonathan is doing well in primary.
He passed his first test and did well
on his first CPT (cockpit procedures test...I think).
I've really been missing him.
We hope you're all doing well.
Check back soon for more.
I'll be in FL for a little over a week
starting on Sunday so I'm sure we'll
have plenty of pictures to share!
Love ya!

20 Weeks

Some of you have been asking for an
update on my belly, so here ya go.
(Gotta love the maternity pants!)
It keeps growing, slowly but surely.
I'm gained 2 lbs since I got pregnant.
I thought it should be more but the
doctor assures me it's perfectly fine.
He's very active and I can even
see his little movements through
my belly if I watch closely.
He seems to move the most whenever
I'm eating, driving, or reading to him
(or maybe it's just because I'm sitting).
He's come to know several books including
"Oh, Baby, the Places You'll Go!",
"Baby Koala" and "Baby Orangutan",
and "God Gave Us You."
We're in need of other good
suggestions if you can think of any.
I hope you continue to enjoy the updates.
Keep checking back for more!
Love you!

IT'S A BOY!

IT'S A BOY!
We had our 19 week ultrasound on June 14th
and everything looked completely healthy!
He currently weighs approximately 10 ounces and
is still due to be born on or around November 10th!
The first picture is of his little tiny foot (upper left corner).
It's a little over an inch long (2.93 cm).
In the second picture you can see his right leg,
part of his left leg, and in between his legs :)
We debated about sharing this picture but
we thought some of you might get a kick out of it.
The last two are profile pictures and if you look closely
you can see his ears and all of his vertebrae,
among other more obvious things.
It's been a fun few weeks having my sister and nieces in town
and getting to see Jonathan again so soon.
We're so thankful he was able to come out on
such short notice to see our ultrasound.
It wouldn't have been the same telling him the news over the phone.
I also started feeling the baby move about 10 days ago!
He's actually kicking me right now as I type :)
While Jonathan was here we went shopping and
bought baby bedding and a few little boy outfits.
We also looked at cribs and strollers and rockers and all that fun stuff.
We're planning on registering in FL when I'm there in July.
Jonathan is really looking forward to picking stuff out!
We haven't come up with a definite name yet.
We think we're sure but we want to give ourselves the
opportunity to change our minds before he's born!
Other updates...
I'm completely finished working nights (praise the Lord).
Jonathan starts Primary (second phase of flight school) tomorrow.
Take care and keep in touch.
We miss everyone very much.
Love you!

Summer with Family in San Diego

Amber, McKenzie, and Kerstin came to San Diego on June 8th.
We had a great time visiting the beaches
(La Jolla Shores, Pacific Beach, and Coronado Beach)
and visiting places like Legoland and Sea World.
We also rented bikes on Mission Beach and rode along the shore.
JB came into town and surprised the girls 2 days before they left.
Amber and the girls were also able to be at part of our ultrasound!
We had a great time!
We took so many pictures so here are just a few.
Hope you enjoy!
