No Pics but at Least it's an Update...

This has been a very stressful week! Sawyer turned two the day after we returned from the mainland, two days later we found out we're more than likely having another baby boy (we'll know FOR SURE on September 3rd), then we moved our guest room/office to where Sawyer's room was, Sawyer's room to where Payton's room was (with the intention of transitioning Sawyer into the room with Payton very soon), and Payton into their new room where the guest room/office was prior. We painted, hung curtains, purchased new bedding, etc. They love their new baseball-themed room, although Sawyer isn't sleeping in there yet. We thought it would be a good idea to rid him of the paci before we transitioned him into a bed... Which is what pushed my stress meter over the edge. Let's just say after 4 days of anything but peaceful naptimes and more demanding bedtimes, he has it back. He wasn't doing terrible with the transition but all I could think about was how nice it was before we took it away. He was a great sleeper! No need for singing and rocking and book reading, etc. You just lay him in his bed and say go to sleep and that's exactly what he does. Payton use to be that way too, until we took his paci away. Ever since then he's been the biggest pain in the rear at naptime and bedtime! He gets out of bed multiple times and wants a drink and wants his door open and wants his fan on and wants his fan off, etc. I can't help but think that we took his paci away a little too soon, which spurred on these needy habits at sleep-times. So... I gave it back to him and I don't plan on taking it away anytime soon. Hopefully both he and I will be more ready when he's closer to 3. Until then, enjoy that paci Baby Sawyer :)
